Koliko je dominantno Klopov tim doneo 19. titulu u vitrine pokazuje i razlika na tabeli, gde su "Redsi" na čak 23 boda prednosti u odnosu na Siti, i to čak sedam kola pre kraja.
Igrači, ali i navijači proslavili su trofej na koji se čekalo punih tri decenije, a u transu je bio i menadžer Jirgen Klop.
Nemački trener rekao je da je osvajanje prve titule šampiona u Premijer ligi neverovatan uspeh i poseban doživljaj.
"Ovo je veliki trenutak. Nemam reči. Neverovatno je. Ovo je mnogo više nego što sam mislio da je moguće. Nikad nisam mislio da ću se ovako osećati", rekao je Klop za "Skaj sport".
"Postati šampion u ovom klubu je apsolutno neopisivo. Ovo je neverovatno postignuće mojih igrača... i velika radost za mene da ih treniram", rekao je Klop.

Ekipa Liverpula je u hotelu gledala meč Sitija i Čelsija, a onda je počela velika radost.
"Veoma je važno slaviti jer su ovi trenuci nezaboravni. Imamo slike iz dosadašnjeg dela sezone, a sada imamo slike i sa proslava. Planiramo i da napravmo paradu sa našim navijačima", naveo je nemački stručnjak.
On je zastao u jednom trenutku, a onda je drhtavim glasom uspeo da kaže: "Potpuno sam preplavljen emocijama, ovo je VELIKI trenutak... Nemam reči, da budem iskren, nemam šta da kažem... Nikad nisam ni pomislio da će biti ovako, nisam imao pojma... Izvinite, gospodo", rekao je uplakani Klop pre nego što se odaljio od kamere.
