Apokaliptične scene krvavo crvenog neba, mrtvih životinja pored puta, žednih koala i hiljada spaljenih kuća i domova obišle su svet.
Novim Južnim Velsom danas hara oko 130 požara, dok ih u susednoj Viktoriji ima tridesetak više.
Hiljade ljudi ostale su bez svojih kuća i domova, najmanje 25 osoba je poginulo, na stotine je povređeno u jezivim požarima koji haraju Australijom još od septembra.
Posebno tužna i zastrašujuća je činjenica da je u požarima stradalo 480 miliona životinja i brojne biljne vrste.
