Na kvalifikacijama održanim u subotu najbrži je bio Valteri Botas u Mercedesu, pa će imati privilegiju da startuje sa prvog mjesta.
On je ostvario vrijeme 1:02,939, što je bilo 0,012 sekundi brže od njegovog klupskog kolege Luisa Hamiltona, prenosi Beta.

Sa trećeg mjesta u prvoj trci poslije četvoromjesečne pauze zbog korona virusa startovaće vozač Red Bula, Maks Ferstapen, četvrti će krenuti Lando Noris u Meklarenu, a peti drugi vozač Red Bula, Aleksander Albon.
Do desetog mjesta su Serhio Peres, Šarl Lekler, Karlos Sainc, Lens Strol i Danijel Rikardo.
