Na internetu se pojavilo mnoštvo snimaka iz Bejruta koji je zadesila velika tragedija. Jedan se izdvojio.

Dvije snažne eksplozije u oblasti luke potresle su libansku prijestonicu Bejrut, a i sam guverner grada scenu je uporedio sa Hirošimom.
Među brojnim snimcima koji su se pojavili na internetu i prikazuju trenutak eksplozije. izdvojio se onaj na kojem otac spasava svog sina.
Čovjek reagovao je već pri prvoj eksploziji skočio i zagrlio svog sina, a kada je odjeknula druga, još jača eksplozija, pojurio je u središte sobe daleko od prozora.
Dijete je smestio pod sto kako bi ga zaštitio.
Prema poslednjim informacijama iz ministarstva zdravlja Libana poginule su najmanje 73 osobe, a povrijeđeno je oko 3.000 ljudi.
Libanski predsjednik Mišel Aun objavio je da 2.750 tona amonijum nitrata ostavljenog bez nadzora u skladištu punih šest godina uzrok tragedije u Bejrutu, dok američki predsjednik kaže da je riječ o nekoj vrsti bombe.
